Subject: Re: [vanagon] Re: manual transmission plug
Hi,
I just took out my tranny plug last week. I used the 17mm craftsman L
shaped wrench and a 17mm closed end wrench. the closed end wrench was used
to turn the allen wrench because of the space considerations. One hand
pushes the allen wrench in the other turns the closed end wrench. P.S.
have clean paper towel with you because when the plug does break loose you
will want something for the blood coming from the knuckle you just jammed
into the linkage and water pipe brackets
Jere

injector seat on a Jetta. Loctite might work well too.
