Read all about the crown rust-proofing, etc. the first time around.
Somebody said they were checking on US availability. I never saw another
post about it since then. Anybody?

First there was Rust Check, then some disgruntled franchisees broke off and
formed Krown. The products are much the same. The price is about $U 30-40

gallon. The product is a light oil with rust inhibiting additives. The oil

prayed inside the panels, the oil will migrate into the seams where the rust
is
(or will be).
In my personal experience, it prevents rust 100% and stops existing rust

Spray the anti rust oil on the seam both outside and inside. Keep on
repeating about every other day until you think the seams are wet with
oil. Wait a week and wash off the oil on the outside. Now you can paint.
In future years, spray the seams from the inside. The seam rust will
show through but the rust rot is stopped as long as the seams have anti
rust oil in them.
