On my '90 Carat with Dunlop Radial Rover RV's 27x 8.5 x 14 (
http://www.dunloptire.com/tires/Rover_rv.html ) I have no problems with the
side to side motion and my performance in crosswinds is a tad bit better
than the 205's I had replaced. The tires have survived many desert camping
'ventures.

The tires I use have pretty beefy tread blocks, which is where I think the
squirm is coming from. Interesting that someone else with the same size has
the same situation, though.
